Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #234

Hello Crafty Friends!

"ROUND CARD"

Here is my submission for the

I used A Happy Heart 6x6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye:

So, for this card, I used the Cricut Craft Room Basics (preloaded in the Cricut Craft Room) to make the scalloped circle and shadow.  For the center circle, I used the "donut" from the Love You A Latte Cricut Cartridge.  I made a rosette using the Martha Stewart Scoring Board.  Cut the small circle center with the 1" MS circle punch.  I used 7Gypsies Binding Ribbon to tie the card, and for the bow.  To punch the holes on top and to set gold eyelets, I used my Crop-A-Dile.  I distressed all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.  I used foam dots to give each layer dimension.  Also, each paper was mounted on Kraft paper by Recollections to make it more sturdy.

BTW, we had a choice between 2 sketches:

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #232

Hello Crafty Friends!

"CONGRATULATIONS"

This is my submission for the

For this challenge, I started with a white card base.  The paperstack I used is from DCWV -- The Sweet Stack.  I love this stack! :-)  I used the Love You A Latte Cricut Cartridge to cut the cupcake, and I used the Cricut Craft Room to manipulate the figure.  If you haven't tried the CCR yet, what are you waiting for?  It's free and it's so easy and convenient.  Anyway, the ribbon is from my stash.  The sentiment inside is a wood mounted stamp, I colored "Congratulations" with a metallic blue Gelly Roll pen.  I made this card for a friend of mine who just graduated from college.  I can't wait to give it to her.

For this challenge, I used a neutral 8 1/2"x11" cardstock, folded in half, as my base.  The patterned paper is from DCWV -- "Everyday" Extreme Paper Stack (LOVE this stack, can't you tell?).  I used the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge to cut the circle and scalloped circle.  The ribbons and buttons are from my stash.  The pocket is from 7 Gypsies, I just covered it in the matching patterned paper.

Creative Cutter Room Challenge: Shape Cards

Hello Crafty Friends!

"HOW'VE YOU BEAN?"

This is  my submission for the

Theme: Shape Card!
Create a new card using a shape no squares no rectangles!
For my shape card, I decided to use the "latte" cup from the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge.  I cut the cup at 6" out of brown cardstock.  I designed the card using Cricut Craft Room, which I must mention makes creating so much easier!  The floral pattern paper is from DCWV -- Everyday Extreme Paper Stack.  I love brown and pink!  I used my computer to print out "How've You Bean?" on neutral cardstock, and used a square paper punch to cut it out.  Matted it on some more brown cardstock.  For the inside, I also printed "Miss You A Latte" on the same neutral cardstock, and cut out the latte cup at a smaller scale to give a shadow effect.  I left space to write a note to the recipient.
I hope you love it a latte!
