BITTEN BY THE BUG 2 CHALLENGE: WELCOME

Hello Crafty Friends!

"WELCOME BANNER"


Here is my submission for the
Bitten By The Bug 2's:
















For this challenge, I decided to make my first home decor project.  It's a small banner to hang on the door of my scraproom.  To cut the word "Welcome" I used the Storybook Cricut Cartridge with the shadow accent.  For the scalloped ovals, I used Cricut Craft Room Basics, which comes included when you download Cricut Craft Room.  Each oval is attached with foam dots to create dimension.  On the pale pink oval, I embossed using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots folder.  I used pink self-adhesive rhinstones for a touch of bling.  For the background, I used the same pale pink paper as the smallest oval, and a Martha Stewart border punch gave black cardstock a delicate edge.

I absolutely love how this project came out.  Don't you?!

    Oh Yes, I absolutely Love this too!!! =] Great colors and that Martha Stewart punch is one of my all time favorites! And if you know me, gotta have a touch of Bling, lol! I'm so glad you shared with us over at BBTB2 for the Welcome challenge, what a great touch to your scrap room door!
